Dichloran
Dichloran is used as a pesticide to control a variety of pre- and post -harvest diseases on fruit and vegetable crops. Major target sites are peaches, grapes, lettuce and celery.
In Microbiology it is used as a component of Dichloran Rose-Bengal Chloramphenicol Agar, as a selective medium for yeasts and moulds associated with food spoilage
