Voriconazole
Voriconazole is a second-generation anti fungal triazole, and is derived from fluconazole. It has a broad and enhanced antifungal spectrum as compared to other older triazoles. It is often used to treat such infections as aspergillosis, candidiasis, coccidioidomycosis, histoplasmosis, penicilliosis, and infections by Scedosporium or Fusarium.
