Topotecan
Topotecan is a chemotherapeutic agent that is a topoisomerase inhibitor. It is a synthetic, water-soluble analog of the natural chemical compound camptothecin. Topotecan is described to stabilize topoisomerase I/DNA cleavable complexes and promote rapid apoptotic cell death in radiation-resistant human B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells.
