Prulifloxacin
Prulifloxacin is an older synthetic antibiotic of the fluoroquinolone drug class undergoing clinical trials prior to a possible NDA submission to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Prulifloxacin is a chemotherapeutic fluoroquinolone antibiotic with broad-spectrum activity. It is used to study hydrolysis reactions of lactones and cyclic carbonate esters as well as pilocarpine.
