Primulin C.I.49000
Primulin is used in retrograde double labeling procedure for studying axonal branching. Primulin is a dye containing the benzothiazole ring system. The primulines are considered derivatives of dehydrothiotoluidine (aminobenzenyltoluylmercaptan). It is pale yellow in solution under visible light and is blue fluorescent under ultraviolet.
