N-Hydroxysuccinimide (HOSu)
N-Hydroxysuccinimide or HOSu is used in the carbodiimide method for improved amidations and peptide couplings. N-Hydroxysuccinimide can be used in the synthesis of N-hydroxysuccinimide ester via dehydration reaction in the presence of dicyclohexylcarbodiimide in carboxylic acid.
