Ferrozine Iron Reagent
Ferrozine Iron Reagent, also known as 3-(2-Pyridyl)-5,6-Bis(4-Phenylsulfonic Acid)-1,2,4-Triazine, is used to determine trace levels of iron in water by the Ferrozine method. Ferrozine is a highly specific water soluble reagent used in the accurate determination of sub microgram levels of serum iron. Frequently used as a reagent with the Tytronics sentinal analyser and Lovibond machines.
