D-Cycloserine
Cycloserine is an amino acid derivative with an unusual structure. D-cycloserine was initially known as a tuberculostatic agent. It acts as a glutamatergic partial N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) agonist. In Microbiology it is used as an antibiotic against Gram-negative bacteria.
