Cefpodoxime Free Acid
Cefpodoxime Free Acid is an oral, third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is active against most Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. Notable exceptions include Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococcus, and Bacteroides fragilis.
In microbiology Cefpodoxime free acid is commonly used in clinical in vitro microbiological antimicrobial susceptibility tests (AST),(panels, discs, and MIC strips) against gram positive and gram negative microbial isolates.
