Cardiogreen
Cardiogreen or Indocyanine green (ICG) is a cyanine dye used in medical diagnostics. It is used for determining cardiac output, hepatic function, and liver blood flow, and for ophthalmic angiography. It has a peak spectral absorption at about 800 nm.
Used in Autofluorescence Photography. Autofluorescence occurs when light shines onto a substance which emits a light of a different wavelength. In non-biological tissues such as banknotes it is used in order to prevent counterfeiting.
