Marbofloxacin
Marbofloxacin is a carboxylic acid derivative third generation fluoroquinolone antibacterial drug primarily for veterinary use. It is effective in treating infections caused mainly by Gram-negative and some Gram-positive pathogens. It is used in veterinary medicine under the trade names Marbocyl,Forcyl and Zeniquin. A formulation of marbofloxacin combined with clotrimazole and dexamethasone is available under the name Aurizon.
